🎉 September Raffle Winner: 15th St Helens (St Andrews) Scout Group

We’re thrilled to announce that the winner of our September £440 charity giveaway is the 15th St Helens (St Andrews) Scout Group!

Each month, we donate £440 to a local charity, group, or project that’s making a real difference in their community. This month’s winners have an inspiring vision for transforming their outdoor space, and we’re proud to support it.

About the Project

Liam Cawsey-Gilbert, a dedicated Scout Leader with the group, shared their exciting plans with us in his application:

“If selected, we would use the funds to revitalise our rear garden area, making it a more welcoming, accessible, and functional space for all our users.”

The project includes several thoughtful upgrades that will benefit not just the Scouts, but the wider community as well:

🧱 Brick BBQ bases to enable safe and inclusive backwoods cooking activities
🏠 A new shed to replace a damaged structure
🔥 A redesigned fire circle for group gatherings and outdoor learning
🌱 Planters and green space enhancements to promote gardening and environmental education

These improvements will help turn their garden into a multi-use outdoor hub, a space where people of all ages and abilities can come together to learn new skills, connect with nature, and build lasting memories.
