April Charity Winners: St Helens Concert Band 🎵

Our April charity winners are St Helens Concert Band, who have been awarded £440 for their outstanding community work.

Founded in 1972, the band has grown from a small group of schoolchildren into a 30+ member ensemble performing across St Helens, Halton, and Merseyside. They play around 10 concerts each year, often supporting local charities and community groups, including recent events for parks, community associations, and a fundraiser for Willowbrook Hospice.

All members volunteer their time, paying their own subscriptions and travel costs, with no payment received.
